Anna F. Uholick
Anna F. Uholick, 93 , formerly of W. Lloyd St., Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Friday morning at the home of her daughter and caregiver, Virginia McBryde, 58 N. Fourth St., Frackville, surrounded by her loving family; granddaughter Michelle Foley and great-grandchildren; Addison and Ari Hummel and Abe Foley.
Born in Shenandoah she was a daughter of the late Anthony Milus and Mary " Krosnouckiute" Milus Goodalis and her step-father Simon Goodalis. She had been employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry at Liotta Dress, until it's closing, and then for Alma Dress factory until her retirement. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. and a former member of St. George's Catholic Church, Shenandoah.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband John " Abe " Uholick and her son John " Jackie " Uholick.
She is survived by her daughter Virginia "Ginny" McBryde, with whom she resided in Frackville, a sister Helen Wolsky, Las Vegas, NV a brother George Milus, Camp Hill, grandchildren; Michelle Foley,Frackville, Gary Uholick,Shenandaoh, Renee Magdeburg, Auburn, great-grandchildren; Addison and Ari Hummel, Abe Foley, all of Frackville, Jimmy and Josh Magdeburg,Auburn, her friend and former daughter-in-law Patsy " Kantusky " Gadinski, Pottsville,nephew Walter "Robin" Wolsky, Las Vegas, NV and additional nieces and nephews.
Private funeral and interment services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing.
