Anna Maliniak

Anna Maliniak , 94, former Frackville resident, passed away peacefully Friday in Annapolis, MD.

Born in Mahanoy Plane she was a daughter of the late Alex and Mary Stoppi Kuzio. She had been employed by the Montgomery County Public School system until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Maliniak, her brother Stephen Kuzio and two sisters; Mary Sich and Julia Dougert.

Anna is survived by her daughter Elaine Maliniak, Annapolis, MD and her sister Catherine Hoffman, Frackville also by several nieces and nephews.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Petro Zvarych, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Friends may call at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:30.
