Anna Hullihan

Anna Hullihan, Pine Grove, former lifetime resident of Frackville, died Sunday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born in Frackville she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth " Stoyak " Ploxa. She had been employed , for several years as a presser at the former Pajama Factory, Frackville, and later worked at Mr's T"s, Shenandoah, until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Malachi Hullihan in 1982, five brothers; Michael, John, Stephen, Nicholas and Peter Ploxa, and a sister Margaret White.

Anna is survived by her daughter Geraldine wife of Jerold Kintzel, Pine Grove, three grand-daughters Kelly Heim and Angela and Megan Kintzel, three great-grandchildren; Ryan, Tessa and Christopher Heim, a sister Mary Mendinsky, Frackville, several nephews and nieces including her nephew John White.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Mass of Christian Burial, for Anna, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Michael Beers, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
