Anna E. "Annabelle" Decker
Anna E. "Annabelle" Decker , 87, Frackville, died peacefully Saturday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian St., Pottsville, surrounded by her family.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Naysh M. and Anna E. (Swoyer) Decker. Annabelle was an employee of Bell Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania until her retirement.
Annabelle was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville.
She was a 1944 graduate of the former Immaculate Heart Academy. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers and former member of the wood carvers association. Annabelle was an avid Notre Dame fan.
Annabelle was preceded in death by two brothers: Naysh and John Decker and two sisters: Helen McAndrew and Evelyn Kotch.
She is survived by her two brothers: Christian J. Decker, Mechanicsburg and Howard, husband of Helen Decker, Camp Hill; Two sisters: Betty Lou and Dianne Decker, both of Frackville. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call at the church Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until time of mass.
In lieu of flowers, family prefers contributions, be made in Annabelle's name, to either St. Joseph's Parish at 7 S. Broad Mountain Ave. Frackville, PA 17931 or the Frackville Community Ambulance Association at PO Box 15 Frackville, PA 17931
