Alice Lazar, 93, a lifelong resident of Frackville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12th, at her home.
Born in Frackville, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Eva Ringo Schultz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer J. Lazar; a son, Albert Lazar; and her brother, Emil Schultz.
Alice was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Clair of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Clair.
She is survived by her children, Mary Alice Lewis, Steven Lazar, Justine "Tina" Lazar, Mark Lazar, and Luke Lazar; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 18th, at 11 a.m. from St. Clair of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Clair with Msgr. Willam Glosser, pastor, as the celebrant. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Englewood section of Frackville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church at 250 E. Hancock St. St Clair, PA 17970
