Albert J. Salada

Albert J. Salada , 62, Shenandoah, passed away peacefully Wednesday at Hershey Medical Center, with his family at his side.

Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Albert and Helen Mickalonis Salada. He had been employed as a diesel mechanic for Penn Dot for the past 25 years.

He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his future son-in-law, Jake Edmondson.

Albert is survived by his wife of 44 years Karen L. Kowalick Salada, his daughter Ashleigh Salada, Shenandoah, his sister Carole wife of Tony Velkoff, Harrisburg and his faithful companions Gizzmo and Rambo and by numerous friends.

Religious services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
