Alan A. Shinkus

Alan A. Shinkus , 73, Frackville, passed away suddenly Tuesday at his residence.

Born in Ashland he was a son of the late Francis M. and Mary A. Hauslyak Shinkus. He had been employed in construction for Pensy Supply.

He was a US Navy veteran of the Viet Nam war.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Georgine Yeneskie Shinkus and a brother Vaughn Shinkus.

Alan is survived by three sons; Alan and his wife Amy Shinkus, Fleetwood, Anthony Shinkus, Frackville and Adam Shinkus and his companion Quanita Britt, Arnodts Addition, St. Clair, his brother Michael (Marian) Shinkus, Frackville and his three Grandchildren; Alex, Austin and Aiden Shinkus, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11 a.m..
